In What Aspects Is the Versatility of a Normally Open Solenoid Valve Reflected?

At present, the application of normally open solenoid valves is increasingly widespread, but due to differences in their use environments, improving their comprehensive performance can reduce costs in production, procurement, storage, installation, and maintenance.

(1) The response time can be adjusted.

The act of sending an electronic signal to the valve body is called response time. The compressor normally open solenoid valve switches at different speeds under different conditions, with four different combinations: fast open and fast close — a quick-response system; slow start — to prevent water hammer; fast opening — used to open slowly; slow start — a smooth transition. Representative examples are air-conditioning solenoid valves; a multi-function solenoid valve can be adjusted at any position, making operation very convenient.

(2) Adopting the versatility of an extended medium.

Compared with other automatic control valves, a high-pressure 2-way 2-position solenoid valve has a very small range of viscosity change in the medium, so media such as air, water, steam, and oil have different effects on their performance; generally, a solenoid valve cannot be used. At the same time, a multi-function solenoid valve only needs one small screw to achieve three functions — gas, water, and oil — expanding its application fields and being deeply welcomed by the majority of users.

(3) The opening degree of the upper and lower kilns can be adjusted.

It is usually also required that a solenoid valve with manual operation be available during use, to prevent power failure or the occurrence of a fault.

Conventional manual operation can only be manual or manual; both are purely manual. Manual adjustment can also preset the valve opening; in general, a manual adjustment device can only preset the valve opening and the minimum opening. If it is fully manual operation, the valve opening and the minimum opening can be set in advance. A multi-function solenoid valve (SMC solenoid valve) is a purely manually operated, zero-contact valve. Other types of solenoid valves can be operated by traditional manual operation as needed.

With the adjustment of our country's energy structure, the proportion of natural gas in the national economy continues to increase, and the demand for high-temperature normally open solenoid valves also increases accordingly. Natural gas includes natural gas, industrial natural gas, urban natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, and so on; these gases contain various impurities and corrosiveness, which place different requirements on valves. In addition, under various pressures, the pressure of compressed gas can reach 21–25 MPa. In our country, there is already very good technology.
