How to Effectively Prevent Damage to the Cleaning System of a 2-Way Solenoid Valve?

1. The cleanliness of the oil in the cleaning system is directly related to the operation of the hydraulic cylinder. For example, if the lubricating oil is not clean enough, or cannot meet the requirements of the hydraulic cylinder, then the various parts of the hydraulic cylinder, and even the pipelines, will be greatly damaged. Therefore, customers need to use and apply working materials, and at the same time filter the oil cylinder.

2. During use, the hydraulic impact and vibration oil cylinder will be affected by the action of components, pipelines, and materials, thereby producing hydraulic impact and vibration. However, due to the vibration of the hydraulic cylinder, it is very easy for the connection between parts and pipelines to loosen, causing damage to equipment pipelines and oil leakage at the gears. Therefore, when selecting a hydraulic cylinder, users should choose appropriate hydraulic buffers and components.

3. Generally speaking, if the oil temperature is too high or too low, it will seriously affect the working efficiency of the hydraulic cylinder. If the oil temperature of the hydraulic cylinder of a water-use 2-way solenoid valve is too high or too low, it will change the physical and chemical properties of the medium, causing the viscosity of the working substance to decrease, which may increase the possibility of leakage.

At the same time, if the oil temperature is too high or too low, it may also cause accelerated seal damage and air leakage, etc.

1. Choose a sealing strength for the hydraulic cylinder body of 92-97 degrees; as the pressure of the hydraulic cylinder increases, the choice of seal also becomes stronger.

2. The angular speed of the sealing lip must reach 0.5 m/s.

3. The temperature resistance of the medium must be between -30 and 110 degrees Celsius. For pneumatic 2-way solenoid valves, because the temperature of the sealing lip contact surface is much higher than that of the gear lubricating oil, the seal selected must withstand a high temperature of 110 degrees Celsius; while in some places the ambient temperature is around -30 degrees Celsius, so the sealing material selected must withstand a low temperature of -30 degrees Celsius.

Classified by action mode: single-acting and double-acting. A single-acting hydraulic cylinder can only make the piston (or plunger) move in one direction, that is, the pressure only goes to one chamber of the hydraulic cylinder, while the reverse movement must be achieved with the help of external force (such as a torsion spring or its own weight); a double-acting hydraulic cylinder achieves movement in both directions driven by pressure oil.

4. Dedicated seals should be selected, such as shaft seals — the manifold of a 2-way solenoid valve can only use shaft-dedicated seals. Piston seals can only use piston-dedicated seals, and cannot use dual-purpose shaft-and-piston seals. This is because the total width of the bottom end of a dual-purpose seal is smaller than that of a dedicated seal. Under high pressure, the bottom end of a dual-purpose seal deforms more; a dedicated seal has a wider bottom end under normal pressure, its compression deformation is smaller, and the probability of being squeezed by the piston rod is reduced.
