Choose a suitable solenoid valve: when choosing a solenoid valve, it should be based on four basic requirements, namely safety, adaptability, price, and quality, and should meet the corresponding working environment (for example: nominal diameter size, medium type, pressure level, power supply voltage, operating mode, special functions).
When choosing a solenoid valve, one should follow:
1. Choose different solenoid valves according to pipeline parameters: DN, connection (interface)
1. Determine the DN diameter according to the on-site pipe diameter or flow requirements; of course, you can also customize a high-pressure one-way valve yourself.
2. Connection method: for DN > 65, a flange interface is commonly used; for DN ≥ 65, any threaded or flanged type can be selected.
2. Choose the solenoid valve according to the medium type: valve body material, seals, temperature group
1. Corrosive liquid of a corrosion-resistant normally open solenoid valve: the valve body uses PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), commonly known as the king of plastics; fluororubber or PTFE can be selected.
2. Edible or ultra-clean liquid: the valve body is medical-grade stainless steel and is sealed with silicone.
3. High-temperature fluid: use high-temperature-resistant stainless steel materials and sealing materials, and the basic structure adopts a piston type.
4. Fluid state: from gaseous to liquid, or a mixed state such as an air-conditioning solenoid valve; especially for large diameters, since it is related to the parameters of the guide hole, it should be distinguished.
5. Fluid viscosity of the liquid-use normally open solenoid valve: usually 50 cSt; when it exceeds 50 cSt, use a solenoid valve with higher viscosity.
6. Fluid cleanliness: when there are impurities, install a filter at the front end of the solenoid valve.
3. Choose the working principle and structure of the solenoid valve according to the pressure level
1. Rated pressure: this parameter is the same as other common valves, and refers to the rated pressure or working pressure multiplied by 1.5.
2. Stainless steel 2-way 2-position solenoid valve: it uses medical-grade stainless steel material and silicone sealing. Working pressure: refers to the pressure from the front end of the valve minus the pressure at the tail of the valve when the solenoid valve is in the closed state; when there is no pressure difference and no vacuum, direct drive or distributed direct drive should be adopted, but a large diameter is not suitable; when there is a certain pressure difference or above a certain pressure difference, a guided-principle structure should be adopted. (Our company's pilot piston-type solenoid valve has a working pressure of 0.01 MPa.)
