Explanation of Several Common Connection Forms of One-Way Solenoid Valves

There are various kinds of one-way solenoid valves, and they play a key role in filter separators. They are generally classified by the responsibility, structural form, driving method, material, and application field of the pipeline solenoid valve. This article describes several common connection methods of one-way solenoid valves.

1. Loose flange

This is also the most commonly used connection method for valves. According to the shape of the joint surface, a solar one-way solenoid valve can be further divided into the following types:

1) Smooth type: used for valves with lower working pressure. Manufacturing is relatively convenient.

2) Raised and recessed type: for higher working pressure; a harder gasket can be used.

3) Tongue-and-groove type: a gasket with greater plastic deformation can be used; it is widely used in corrosive media and its sealing effect is good.

4) Trapezoidal groove type: an elliptical metal ring is used as the gasket, for valves with a working pressure of 64 kgf/cm³ or above, or an oil-press one-way solenoid valve.

5) Lens type: the gasket is lens-shaped and made of metal. It is used for high-pressure valves with a working pressure of 100 kgf/cm³ or above, or high-temperature valves.

6) O-ring type: this is also a relatively new loose flange method. It developed rapidly with the emergence of various rubber O-rings, and its sealing effect is more reliable than a general flat gasket.

2. Threaded connection

This is also a simple connection method, mostly seen in small valves. It is further divided into two cases:

1) Direct sealing: the internal and external pipe threads directly play a sealing role. To conveniently ensure no leakage at the joint, lead oil, hemp thread, and PTFE raw rubber tape are generally used as filler; among them, PTFE raw rubber tape is increasingly widely used; this material has very good corrosion resistance, the overdrive one-way solenoid valve has a very good sealing effect, and it is convenient to apply and store. When disassembling, it can be taken out in detail, because it is a plastic film with no consumption viscosity, much better than lead oil and hemp thread.

2) Indirect sealing: the tightening energy of the pipe thread is transmitted to the gasket between the two planes, so that the gasket plays a sealing role.
