Common Mistakes in Installing 2-Way 2-Position Solenoid Valves

Due to the rapid development of technology and innovation, valuable information that should have been passed on to experts in this field is now often obscured. Although quick or fast methods can well reflect short-term budgets, their lack of comprehensive experience and understanding makes a system viable only in the long term.

1. Bolt length is too long

For the screws on a pneumatic 2-way 2-position solenoid valve, it is enough for only one or two screws to exceed the screw cap. This can reduce the risk of damage and corrosion. Why spend more time buying a longer bolt? Usually, this is because some people do not have enough time to calculate the exact length, or they simply do not care about the final result. This is a sluggish project.

2. No separately protected control valve

Although a protective gate valve takes up valuable space, during maintenance the staff must be able to work on the valve. If space is limited and the valve is considered too long, then at least install a disc-type water-use 2-way 2-position solenoid valve, which will not take up too much space. Always remember that staff must be able to stand on it for maintenance and use, so that they can complete the maintenance work better.

3. No pressure gauge or device installed

Some tools prefer a calibration tester, which usually provides a good connection test tool for their staff, but some equipment will install a connector. Although not required, this design allows the specific pressure of the valve to be seen. Even with monitoring, data acquisition, and monitoring, someone standing at the edge of the valve to observe the pressure finds this very easy.

4. Too few installation locations

If installing the valve is laborious, including digging up concrete, etc., please do not try to minimize its installation area just to save a little cost — otherwise the basic maintenance work of the high-pressure 2-way 2-position solenoid valve will be very difficult afterwards. Another thing to remember: tools can be very long, so space must be reserved for removing screws. There should also be some places that let you add equipment later.
