The three valves of the blow molding machine 3-way valve group serve to connect or close, disconnect or connect the positive and negative pressure and impulse lines of the differential pressure transmitter. The five-valve group is based on the three-valve group, with the addition of a 3-way pneumatic control valve; the function of the hydraulic four-valve group differs little. In the five-valve group, although there is an additional high-pressure drain valve, it is usually not needed for draining, but rather for discharging gas and liquid from the sensor bellows. The three valves serve to connect or close, disconnect or connect the positive and negative pressure and impulse lines of the differential pressure transmitter. The five-valve group is based on the three-valve group, with the addition of high/low pressure drain valves; the function of the three-valve group differs little.

Although the five-valve group has an additional high-pressure drain valve, it is not used for draining liquid, but to discharge the gas and liquid inside the sensor diaphragm. The normally closed single-direction solenoid valve is used for zeroing after emptying; the transmitter is used for draining at the oil drain screw at the back. In addition, the price of the blow molding machine 3-way valve group also varies greatly. The five-valve group is installed in front of the transmitter and can only be drained in the pressure pipeline; when there is dirt in the capsule, the five-valve group cannot discharge it. However, after using the five-valve group, the detection and calibration of the sensor can be easily realized.
