The sock machine yarn feeder device is driven by an air source and a piston-type cylinder, with a herringbone linkage; the cylinder drives the herringbone linkage so that the gripper jaws close, forming a clamping force on the tail yarn wound during the spinning process when the yarn is lowered. Its main components are: cylinder base, cylinder, cylinder joint, sliding flat iron, cylinder fixed seat, sliding seat, long and short herringbone arm flat steel, and fixed bracket. Below are the special functions of each component.
1) The cylinder base serves as a fixing device to prevent cylinder displacement caused by axial force.
2) The cylinder provides power for the yarn clamping machine and the tail-yarn clearer; through the cylinder, the yarn clamping machine and tail-yarn mechanism are moved to the clamping position and returned to the original state.
3) The cylinder joint fastens the cylinder piston rod and the sliding flat iron together, connecting the cylinder with the sliding flat iron so that the piston rod can drive the sliding flat iron when moving.
4) The magnet-coupled rodless cylinder connects the short herringbone arm with the cylinder joint, and uses the sliding flat iron to drive the axial movement of the cylinder barrel and rotate it.
5) The cylinder fixed seat, with which the cylinder can be firmly connected to the cylinder base.
6) The sliding seat supports and guides the sliding flat iron to enable its longitudinal movement, preventing up/down and left/right deviations and ensuring it stays level during movement; the slider is made of powder metallurgy material and has a self-lubricating function. It also supports and fixes the short herringbone arm.
