Installation Precautions:
1. First check whether the normally closed check valve matches the selection parameters, such as power supply voltage, medium pressure, and pressure differential; especially the power supply—if incorrect, the coil will burn out.
2. Flush the pipeline before connection to remove metal powder, sealing material residue, rust, etc. from the pipes. Pay attention to medium cleanliness. If the medium is mixed with dirt, impurities, etc. that hinder the normal operation of the solenoid valve, install a filter or strainer in the pipeline.
3. Angle seat valves are generally directional and must not be installed backwards. Usually, the medium flow direction is indicated by an arrow on the valve body; installation must follow the direction shown by the arrow.
However, it can be reversed in vacuum pipelines or under special circumstances.
4. The solenoid coil element of the angle seat valve should face vertically upward, installed vertically in a pipeline that is horizontal to the ground. If space constraints or working conditions require horizontal installation, this must be specified at the time of selection and ordering. Otherwise, the supplied check valve product may not function properly.
5. Manual shut-off valves should be installed upstream and downstream of the angle seat valve, with a bypass set up simultaneously, to facilitate maintenance when the solenoid valve fails.
6. If the medium may cause water hammer, select a solenoid valve with water-hammer resistance or take corresponding preventive measures.
7. A steam trap should be installed on the inlet side of the angle seat valve, and the connecting pipe should be inclined.
8. Do not keep the angle seat valve energized for a long time, as this easily shortens the coil's service life and may even burn out the coil. At the same time, normally open and normally closed solenoid valves cannot be used interchangeably.
