According to the filtration principle, during maintenance never wash the paper filter element in oil, otherwise the paper element will malfunction and may very likely cause a runaway accident. During maintenance, only vibration, soft-brushing (brushing along its pleats), or compressed-air back-blowing may be used to remove dust and dirt from the paper element surface. For the coarse filtration area, promptly clean the dust from the dust area, vanes, and cyclone ducts. Even with careful maintenance each time, a paper filter cannot fully restore its original performance, increasing air resistance; therefore, after the fourth maintenance a new compressed air filter usually needs to be replaced. If problems such as a cracked or perforated paper element or degluing between the filter paper and end cap occur, replacement must be made promptly.

1. The moisture inertial filter consists of a central tube, an oil pool, etc. Its working principle: when gas enters the filter and drops at high speed along the central pipe to the oil surface of the oil pool, its direction of movement suddenly changes to upward and begins to rotate. At this point, due to inertia, some larger dust particles cannot rise against the gas flow in time and are stuck in the oil, completing the air filtration.

2. The dry air filter consists of a cardboard filter and seals, etc. Its working principle is to filter the dust in the air through a filter cartridge or have it adhere to the filter.

3. The lubricator filter is a metal filter element whose working principle is that, after the gas is filtered through the oil bath, the micro-dust particles filtered by the filtering oil are blocked in the metal filter.
