Air-source filter pressure reducing valve: Adjusts the air pressure in the main/branch pipelines to regulate the pressure required by the regulator.
Working principle: Turn the adjusting screw clockwise to adjust the spring force, pressing the diaphragm downward and moving the connected frame and seat downward. At this point a passage forms at the top of the frame in the fully automatic filter, and the air-source pressure is discharged from this passage. When the outlet pressure reaches the preset value, it is transmitted through the outlet pressure feedback passage to the bottom of the diaphragm, keeping it consistent with the spring pressure and maintaining a certain pressure. When the outlet pressure exceeds the set pressure, it is transmitted through the outlet pressure sensing hole to the bottom of the diaphragm; the opening between the diaphragm and the frame opens, the outlet pressure is transmitted from this hole to the spring chamber and discharged into the air, maintaining a constant pressure.
Daily maintenance of the filter pressure reducing valve: frequently check the pressure gauge on the filter pressure reducing valve and observe whether the pressure changes with the pressure. If the air pressure changes with the air pressure, it indicates a fault in the pressure safety valve. You can adjust the adjustment knob of the pressure reducing valve; if it cannot be used, consider replacing the cartridge-type filter pressure valve. Because in high-speed mobile equipment, unstable air pressure will affect its service life.
In addition, the air filter pressure reducing valve of the filter should also be drained periodically. New filter pressure reducing valves can open automatically when the pressure reaches a certain level. Some old filter pressure valves often have the drain valve below opened to achieve moisture protection. Generally, drainage occurs once every 15–30 days.
