Functions of the filter regulator:
I. Stable pressure reduction
As a type of pressure reducer, although its main role is filtering, its pressure resistance is also strong; the output pressure of an air source filter regulator manufacturer is typically between 0.2-0.3 MPa, between 0.7-0.8 MPa when closed, and between 0.4-0.5 MPa upon restart. The function of the filter regulator is to keep the output pressure stable, and the reduced pressure should be between 0.4-0.5 MPa.
II. Filtration: the filter regulator can filter out most moisture and impurities.
Daily maintenance of the filter regulator: frequently check the pressure gauge on the filter regulator and observe whether the pressure changes with the air pressure. If the air pressure fluctuates, it indicates a fault in the pressure safety valve. You can adjust the adjusting knob of the pressure reducing valve; if it cannot be used, consider replacing the cartridge-type filter valve. Because in high-speed mobile applications unstable air pressure affects its service life. In addition, the pressure reducing valve of a customized air source filter regulator should also be drained regularly. New-type filter regulators can open automatically when the pressure reaches a certain level. With some old filter valves, people often open the drain valve at the bottom to achieve waterproofing. Typically there is a drainage every 15-30 days.
III. What are the advantages of using a filtered pressure relief valve?
The filtered pressure reducing valve is a combination of an air filter and a pressure reducing valve. Its main advantages are: fast response—because a balanced boost valve is installed at the outlet pressure, the reaction is faster and the pressure value is easier to keep within range; the gas meter interface is a full-flow interface; modular installation does not occupy usage space; and the filter regulator has a simple structure and is easy to maintain.
