Advantages of the SC cylinder and cylinder sealing:
Cylinder seals include various sealing pistons such as O-rings, Y-rings, L-rings, and small Y-rings, as follows:
1. O-ring
The O-ring itself has strong sealing performance, is very reliable, has a relatively simple structure, and its small size results in low friction resistance.
After installation, the O-ring is larger or smaller than the inner diameter of the sealing surface or 20mm larger/smaller than the outer diameter; if the compression amount is too large, friction increases.
2. L-ring
The L-ring seal is reliable, has a long service life, and greater friction resistance than the O-ring. It is generally used for SC cylinders with a diameter greater than mm.
When assembling the finger cylinder assembly, screws should not be tightened too much to avoid deformation and damage to the sealing performance.
3. Y-ring
The ring seal is reliable, often long-lived, with greater friction resistance than the O-ring. It is generally used for cylinders with a diameter greater than mm.
4. Small Y-ring
The small Y-ring of the small finger cylinder has high wear resistance, oil resistance, high strength, and good elasticity for the SC cylinder. Its service life is several times higher than that of rubber seal oil. It has less friction than O-ring and Y-ring.
Simple piston structure, the aspect ratio of the sealing ring cross-section is greater than 1. The ring does not roll during use, has good self-sealing, and no leakage occurs at low pressure.
