The 4V400 series solenoid valve direct-acting type adopts a combination of a direct-entry and pilot method. With no pressure at the inlet and outlet, the electromagnetic force lifts the pilot valve and the main valve closing element upward in turn to open the valve after power is applied. In the inlet and outlet ports to reach the starting pressure difference, after power is applied, the electromagnetic driven small valve body, so that the pressure of the lower chamber of the main valve rises and the pressure of the upper chamber decreases, so that the pressure difference of the main valve is pushed upward;.
When the power is cut off, the pilot valve pushes the closing part down through elasticity or pressure of the medium, so that it closes the valve, the pressure of the lower chamber of the main valve rises and the pressure of the upper chamber falls, thus using the pressure difference to push the main valve upward; when the power is cut off, the pilot valve uses spring force or medium pressure to push the closing part and move downward to close.
4V400 series solenoid valve pilot type: when starting, the electromagnetic force makes the pilot hole open, so that the pressure in the upper cavity decreases sharply, producing a high pressure difference between the upper and lower around the closing element, the hydraulic pressure will close the closing element upward movement, open; when the power is cut off, the elastic force will close the pilot hole, the pressure of the inlet will quickly through the bypass hole, corrosion-resistant normally open solenoid valve in the closing valve components around the formation of an up and down, up and down, up and down pressure difference, the pressure of the fluid will push the closing part down and close it. When the solenoid is powered up, the connecting rod is lifted and this action produces an opening of the pilot valve when the rotary shaft begins to rotate; after the power is cut off, the pilot valve is closed under the self-weight of the armature and the action of the return spring.
Two-position three-way solenoid is usually matched with single-action pneumatic actuator, two positions for two adjustable: switching type, the three-way includes three air paths, one with the air source, one with the air inlet channel of the actuator, one with the exhaust hole of the actuator, its working principle can be referred to the single-action pneumatic actuator.
Pneumatic one-way solenoid valve is generally compatible with double-acting pneumatic actuator, five-way has five ventilation lines, one connected with the air source, two connected with the double-acting cylinder, two connected with the inner air chamber of the inlet channel and the inner air chamber, its working principle can be referred to double-acting pneumatic actuator.
As far as the air path (or liquid path) is concerned, solenoid valve 4V420-15 includes an air inlet (connected to the air inlet), an air outlet (supplying air to the target device), an exhaust port two five-way solenoid valve, including an air inlet (connected to the air inlet), a positive-acting exhaust port and a reverse-acting exhaust port (with silencer installed).
