Three-way valve is a control element of liquid transmission system with the function of stopping, regulating and deflecting. It has the functions of shutoff, regulation, diversion, prevention of backflow, pressure stabilization, diversion or overflow. The three-way valve can be divided into two types according to its fluid action mode, one is a combined flow valve, one has two inlets, one inlet, and two inlets discharged from one inlet. Three-way valve compared with the traditional two-way valve or a single-way valve, the most obvious difference in the use of an extra flow port. Three-way valves are mainly used to change the flow direction of the medium. The three-way valve does not have the function of changing the flow direction of the medium except for the inlet A, outlet B and reversing port C. When the bypass requires media inflow, the actuator opens and the spool reverses, media A enters and C exits.
