What impairs the switching rate of a one-way solenoid valve?

One-way solenoid valve switching response speed is a very important parameter, the meaning of itself is the speed at the beginning and closing, which is in some more special occasions or gate-keeping strict instruments need to pay attention to, especially in some need to strictly control the time and frequency of the occasion, its response time to less than 0.05 seconds, according to our experience, we summarized three major factors: spool, power circuit and Magnetic loss, the overall switching of the one-way solenoid valve relies on electromagnetic force and torque to drive the opening and closing of the spool.

(1) spool motion time lag

As the normally closed two-position two-way solenoid valve spool mass, so that it produces inertia torque throughout the movement, resulting in operating delays. When the valve is closed, the torsion spring cannot release the electromagnetic force immediately, which leads to a delay in the current. The main parameter of time τ= L/R is related to the coil resistance, operating voltage, the relative permeability of the magnetic material, etc. Here is also the need to note that pneumatic two-position two-way solenoid valve is somewhat different, due to its own characteristics is the pressure is different, the demand in voltage is also different.

(3) eddy current loss hysteresis if spiral

Due to the magnetic loss of eddy current loss and the eddy current in the equivalent ring, so that the solenoid valve in the work process will produce a lot of loss, thus endangering the valve switching rate, it should be noted that the use of piston type normally open solenoid valve will appear in the state of no consumption, but this is only the reason for the manual, in other aspects or similar, so still need to pay attention to.
